The mighty Murray River begins near Mt Kosciusko and flows 2500 kms to through some of the most picturesque country in the state. The river has a magnetic presence and forms a very special part of the Aboriginal Dreamtime. Albury/Wodonga, Yarrawonga, Echuca, Swan Hill and Mildura are outstanding tourist towns which have all grown to maturity along its banks.
