The Grampians - a mountain range of stark, awesome rock faces and brilliant wild flowers still shelter the mystical legends and Dreamtime stories of the Aborigines. Five thousand years ago, the Aborigines began to record their stories in more than 100 rock shelters across the mountains. Today, the Brambuk Living Cultural Centre at Halls Gap provides an educational insight into the significance of the Grampians to the Aboriginal (Koori) culture.
When the oval appears, the places have accompanying photographs and greater detail about the type of accommodation.
