Goulburn River Region

The glamorous Goulburn River rises near Mt Selma and snakes across Victoria through the Eildon state park. It takes in some of Australia's most rugged mountain ranges and finest wine growing country. The river feeds into Lake Nagambie, a mecca for skiers, rowers, swimmers and fishermen. Further north is Australia's "fruit capital", the thriving city of Shepparton.
